| MK-O: POEMS INSPIRED BY MARK Emailed September 21 2008 (This poem was written on August 2, 2008. I think it is more INSPIRED by Mark Kanemura than ABOUT him so no, I am not implying that he is unstable! Haha.) Inhale. Exhale. Headphones under hood. Lip sync, whisper of words. A pleasure to be misunderstood. The unstable Creator knows to flaunt such original style, to invent the unexpected, expressed in moves so agile. Hood pulled low over eyes, let music take complete control. Strive, the senses lost in detail. Mad craving created straight from the soul. Compelling desire to learn and grow. A body, the only true tool. Beautiful experience to submit, handed over to the unusual. Smooth, sharp, fantastic contrast can only come from the unstable. Unique difference, born for the stage, anxious risk, relies on no label. Adrenaline rush and quick breath now, but never ignore the personal touch. An act, exhilarating to entertain, no such thing as too much. The endless effect, indescribable, no measure to the Inspiration. A restless quality with no limits creates a surrendering, obsessed sensation. Drawn in, such talent to enjoy. A character, seamlessly portrayed, an invitation impossible to resist remains even after blinding lights fade. Expression of focus and passion leave a Mark in mind and heart. Visible in every move, in every beat, so clear, the Creator adores this art. A wish to spread a message of love but by speaking not one word. Hopelessly mesmerized by his dance: A Voice Heard.
