MK-O: US WEEKLY SYTYCD INTERVIEW click above to read the interview from US's site or read it below: Mark Kanemura Contemporary dance veteran Kanemura, 24, comes to SYTYCD having choreographed and directed performances on Norwegian Cruise Lines. The single Hawaii native was also featured on the 1999 TV series Destination Stardom and shared a $25,000 prize with 11 other winning dancers from his 24-7 Dance Force company at the culmination of the series. Kanemura was also the dance captain for Tokyo Disney Sea’s Mystic Rhythms cruise ship. Mark Tells Us: "Musical theater actually got me into dance. My parents exposed me to a lot of theater when I was younger and I was really blown away by the whole package of everything - the lighting, costumes and characters.
