MK-O: KHON2 STORY WITH MARK's FORMER STUDENTS  click above to read the story from khon2's site or read it below: Finalist on 'So You Think You Can Dance' By Tannya Joaquin A dance instructor from Hawaii hopes his unique style will take him to the top. 24 year old Mark Kanemura is a finalist on the Fox TV Show "So You Think You Can Dance." With one last shot to wow the show's judges, Mark Kanemura delivered. "Mark take a step forward. You got everybody's vote. Congratulations" said judge Nigel Lithgoe. Kaneohe's 24-7 Dance Force is rooting for their instuctor. Chanel Dragomanovich has studied dance with Mark for 8 years and says "I think he's the type that America will fall in love with. I think he really has that likable quality." Mark has choreographed for stars, and now is on the brink of stardom himself. "He has so much more that he hasn't got to show the judges and everybody" says student Carly Takara. "I'm excited to see him show everybody." "Just being on the show and making top 10 boys, this alone is a huge break for him" says student Kupono Aweau. "There's nothing he can't do after this." "I think he's going to do really well" says student Natalie Vilos. "He's just so unique, different from everyone else. He's so left field and that's a good thing." Just to be sure, they plan to vote non-stop and urge the rest of Hawaii to do the same. "Vote for Mark. We love you Mark" said his students in unison.
